Arrangement & orchestration lead for Korea's landmark original musical — 8,000+ premiere audience, 92% satisfaction, national tour across 5+ cities.

Led orchestration bridging Western and Korean traditional music for Korea's landmark original musical about Admiral Yi Sun-sin. The 2008 Tongyeong premiere drew 8,000+ audience at the outdoor Misu Marine Park, followed by a 2009 run at Seoul's Chungmu Art Center (1,255 seats).
A groundbreaking fusion of gugak and Western orchestration — the hybrid score required two completely different arrangements for two drastically different venues: an 8,000-seat outdoor marine park and a 1,255-seat proscenium theater. The production featured 30+ cast members and a full hybrid orchestra.
Lead actor Min Young-gi's powerful portrayal earned the Best Actor Award at the Korean Culture & Entertainment Awards, while the production proved the viability of large-scale Korean original musicals.
